HBS employs a full in-house graphics and marketing team to provide direction necessary for development of Canadian specific marketing materials and advertising. DEMO PROGRAM
Our educated promo staff create effective, high-performing selling demos to increase product knowledge and sales at store level. We have over 18 promo staff members with 4 full time demo program staff in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Our trained staff participate in retail store or local gym events which include promo programs, sampling, coupon programs or new product launches. All promo employees have been trained and educated in personal training and nutrition and as well participate in our in house training program. We provide seminars to our retailers for increased education for their employees including information about products and selling features.
TRADE FUNDING
We provide a wide array of trade funding including:Co-operative advertising programs, Business development funds, Damage allowances, Promotional allowances and Trade Shows services and planning. As well we offer incentive programs including sampling programs, consumer rebates, and coupon redemptions. Healthy Body Services participates in Consumers Shows across Canada.
DISTRIBUTION
HBS has two fully functional and efficient warehouses geographically positioned to optimize quick shipping turnaround and maximize delivery expectations from retailers. One distribution facility located in Ontario and the second in British Columbia. Our inventory management system includes the ability to provide key reporting information as well as full tracing and tracking of shipments. Managed inventory capabilities provide details in the forecasting of all SKUs within Canada through our administration team in Toronto. Speed of business is crucial to success in distribution and order efficiency is a major key to that success; this is accomplished as any HBS orders received by 3:00pm EST will be shipped out the same day. Our distribution agreements with our carriers allows us to ship to most customers on a next day delivery service. We have EDI (electronic data interchange) order processing.

Product Licensing
Our in house team of regulatory specialists administer and implement product registration and provide government liaison services with the regulatory bodies within Canada including the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as well as the Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD). Our facility is NHPD site licensed and we can provide certified quality assurance programs.
HBS Validation of Co-Packers
HBS will work with various co-packers to ensure products produced are permitted entry into Canada.
Canadian Labeling
We provide product labelling review and NHPD compliance as well as complete scientific evaluation and application analysis.
Importation
We have a full, comprehensive and accurate understanding of Canadian customs and excise taxes as well as trade agreements. Our expertise with compliance with the CCRA (Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency) as well as the tariff classifications under the NAFTA Certification process allows us to ensure shipments are cleared quickly and efficiently.
